Five minute walk to a beautiful beach. A few local places to eat and we enjoyed a Chinese takeaway which was about 3 minute walk from the hotel. Easy to get into San Diego and surrounding areas. The staff are friendly and helpful, Alice was more than helpful with advice and help during our stay. We spoke several times to Trisha the hotel manager and the friendliness definitely starts from the top down. In reception there was a tea and coffee machine which was complementary to guest and sachets of porridge for those who needed a quick breakfast fix. Oh, and we were guest of the day so enjoyed free parking during our stay and late check out free too. There was also an hour free bike hire which we didn’t take up. The sunset was amazing from the local beach

Location was perfect not only to WindnSea Beach but also for restaurants, coffee or a stroll. Yes, it's possible to do that in LaJolla. The rooms were nicely done, the beds so comfortable and the staff so sweet and helpful. They have beach bikes, beach towels, pool, a real outside shower, hose to rinse off the sand, beach chairs and floaties for the kids plus a spa and washer & dryer. There is an area outside with a beautiful fire pit away from the pool area. One parking space per room which is $15 per night however you can walk literally everywhere. Parking in LaJolla is hard to find so this is perfect. It's very quiet + the rooms have blackout curtains for sleeping in. They serve coffee in the lobby or you can make your own with a Keurig in your room.

I visited the LA Jolla Concours d'Elegance automobile show and decided to stay overnight rather than driving home to South Orange County on a Sunday night. I booked this property for a reasonable cost and wound up being quite surprised...and pleased. The location is incredible, close to town and just a few blocks to the beautiful beach with coastline views. In addition, the staff upgraded me to a private suite on top. It's a private area with 4 chaise lounges and large deck. The suite itself is very large with a gigantic bathroom, topped off with nice amenities including a robe. If at all possible, book this suite, Room 301. You will so enjoy the view and the privacy. Another plus is a little café right next door.

A good choice if budget is a factor. This motel-style hotel is in a very good location in La Jolla. We were satisfied. The pictures on booking.com are a bit better than in reality, but the room is quite good and very clean. The bed was perhaps a little too soft, but we still slept well. The hotel is a bit noisy, so loud conversations in the neighboring room are clearly audible. The property, however, appears to be very well maintained. No breakfast, but coffee was always available at the reception.

Staff, esp Alice and Tricia, were so friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Location was very handy for the beach, which was located at the end of the street, down a hill in an area that felt very safe. Less than 10 minute drive to La Jolla village. Everything was very clean and seems to have been recently renovated. Free parking available in their lot, could be right if you have a big car/truck. Wifi and AC work very well. We had no issues during our 2 night stay. Highly recommend.
